Green Card Lottery Results
Many people fear that they will not receive the results of their green card lottery or that they will miss it in the mail and thus lose their chance to immigrate to the United States through the process. Indeed, there is no need to worry, since the results arrive in the end, and although this is no consolation to the people eagerly awaiting the results of the lottery.
When you sign up for the lottery then you write down your name and address. In this way, all correspondence between you and the immigration officials will be done through this address. Then, when the lottery tales place, the results will be sent to this address. However, it is important to remember that only winning application will be notified. Keep watch for lottery, since it may be the only way that you have to know about when it is. The results should be sent to you within a few weeks of the lottery, and then you should be able to file your green card.
However, keep in mind, and this is the most important thing, that you may not know if you have won or not. If you do not receive a reply in a short period of time after the lottery takes place, then chances are that you have not won.
